Current Training Programs and Rates
2 Week Training Program
Canine Connection feels the best training is offered in the home environment,
where the dog is familiar with it's surroundings and where the dog will spend
the most time. It also allows Lisa to work with each pets individual
requirements and address any issues specific to your pet. Lisa can make group
training available and has those type classes available from time to time,
contact Lisa to create your pets custom training program.
This program is $550; price will rise to $600, March 15th. We take half payment
the first week, half second week for your convince.
Reservations are required and deposits are required to save a place in the
program.
Private Lessons
This program consists of 6 one hour
sessions in your home. We will work together for one hour, on all obedience
commands such as heeling, sit, stay but also focus on behavioral issues such as
jumping, barking, mouthing, etc. All family members are encouraged to
participate. The lessons are set up to work with your busy schedule, so both
evenings and Saturdays are available. You are given a lesson plan to practice
till we meet the next week.
This program is $400.00; we take half payment on first lesson, other half on 4th
lesson.
Basic Group Lessons
The classes are held in Gulfport, with the City of
Gulfport. It is a 6 week course, the first class is actually a lecture where you
do not bring dog. We discuss all training philosophy and behavioral issues. Next
class you bring dog, held outside at the Gulfport neighborhood center. The
classes are one hour, usually reserve last 10 minutes for questions, problem
solving. Classes usually have 10 to 12 dogs.
We work on all basic obedience commands such as heel, sit, stay, come when
called and all behavioral issues, with distractions.
Class cost is $100; $75 if dog is a rescue.
Puppy Head Start Training Program
This program is designed to get puppy off on the right
paw. We start as early as 8 weeks through 6 months of age. We work on all puppy
related issues, such as housebreaking, feeding schedules, home set up, walking
nicely on a leash, mouthing, jumping and any thing else you might be dealing
with.
Our goal is to set good boundaries and encourage good habits, and stop any bad
habits from forming. I encourage all family members to be part of the training
sessions, especially children.
3- One hour sessions, spread out over 2 to 3 month period. We do initial
session, wait approximately 2 weeks, a lot will have changed, then 3rd session
in about a month.
I feel this is the most important training you can do with your dog. It sets a
foundation for both you and pet, and improves the bonding experience.
Cost-$150
Advanced Group Class
This program is by invitation only, and for dogs that have
already trained with Canine connection. Only 6 dogs allowed. Held in evening, in
down town Gulfport. Will be working around public, in public areas. This program
is designed to begin off leash work.
Cost $100, 6 one hour sessions.
Dog Walking - Pet Sitting - Trips to the Vet!
This program is offered for all dogs
trained by Canine Connection. We are happy to help with taking care of your pet
and helping our customers.
Pet Sitting - In customer home - $60.00 per
night - one pet and $75.00 per night - 2 pets - More can be
discussed and longer lengths of time.
Pet Walking - $15.00 for 20 minute trained
walk - not a crazy walk! $25.00 for two visits per day - Dogs must have been
trained by Canine Connection!
Transportation - Canine Connection can
provide transportation to the Vets, Groomer, Boarding Kennels etc. Rates to be
discussed based on the distance and time involved. Call Lisa to arrange help for
your busy schedule!
I also work
directly with children to help develop a loving bond with pet.
Boarding and home training available on a limited basis.
